The Luck o’ the Irish was definitely with us on Friday, March 20th when we had our inaugural St. Patrick’s Dinner and Overnight Stay at Rosemont. Six lovely and festive couples (some Irish, some otherwise) joined us for an evening festive enough for any leprechaun. Guests came dressed in St. Patty’s green, and we even had one guest in an authentic Irish kilt!
Chef Tona and Chef Ed wowed the crowd with the Irish-inspired menu. They started with a fabulous potato and leek soup, followed by a crisp Irish green salad. The entree, of course, had to be corned beef with braised cabbage and carrots! The soda bread and Craft beers were also plentiful, and the meal was capped off with a to-die-for Irish Cream chocolate cheesecake.
Since everyone was spending the night here at Rosemont, the festivities continued after dinner with lively conversation and the making of new friends in the parlor. With a little luck, we hope this will become a St. Patrick’s tradition here at Rosemont!
