Sample Tea Menu

Below is a Sample Tea Menu that is typically served at Rosemont

 Exact tea menus vary week to week:

Savory Course — often 3 varieties of sandwiches, 2 of each per guest

  • Signature “Byrd Blend” Black Tea – a blend of Darjeeling, cream Earl Three Course Tea  MenuGrey, rose petals and other natural flavors 
  • Southern cucumber sandwiches edged in herbs
  • Roasted red pepper & cheddar dip in filo cups
  • Pesto, prosciutto and provolone crescent rolls

Scone Course — 1 scone of each variety per guest

  • Signature “Rosemont Blend” Green Tea – a combination of Sencha, strawberry and papaya pieces, rose petals, candy pearl dragees and other natural flavors. 
  • Seasonal sweet scone (pumpkin spice, cranberry-orange, Irish Crème, etc.)
  • Cheddar, chive and bacon scone
  • Served with mock-Devonshire cream and seasonal jam or jelly

Sweets Course

  • Seasonal Rooibos — an herbal tisane without caffeine 
  • Lemon cupcakes with homemade icing
  • Chocolate-raspberry ganache
  • Miniature seasonal pie or tartelette
