Guest Rooms and Suites Descriptions

The Historic Rosemont Manor of Virginia

Historic Rosemont Manor has twelve elegantly appointed suites and guest rooms, each distinctly decorated in its own eclectic style and featuring a host of amenities designed to cater to your every comfort.  Because of Rosemont’s rich legacy of hosting many famous political and historical figures during the 200 years that the manor was a private residence, the rooms and suites are now named after some of these distinguished guests.

All accommodations include a full Virginia breakfast the following morning, served in our Rosemont Room or in the Sun Room with views of the East Lawn and the Fountain. We offer a number of different selections, from decadently sweet to melt-in-your-mouth savory, and we can accommodate any dietary restrictions you may have (but please let us know in advance).

Our room rates are always based on single or double occupancy. We do have several adjoining guest suites that, when reserved together, are perfect for families with children or friends traveling together. However, please be aware that, due to fire regulations, the use of air mattresses or cots is not permitted in any of our guest rooms.  Please also note that Historic Rosemont is a place for quiet respite and a chance to unwind.  In keeping with this spirit, we do not have TV’s here at Rosemont.  We do have free wifi throughout the manor for your communication needs.

If you have any questions or special considerations for your overnight getaway at Rosemont, give us a call at (540) 955-2834 and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

The Roosevelt Suite

The Roosevelt Suite was used by former owners of Rosemont as the billiard and games room, and has a unique style and design. Built-in hand-made cupboards, intended to store various gaming paraphernalia, grace one side of the room. Red and gold leaf wallpaper adorns the walls, adding an elegant touch to a room which once amused Rosemont’s guests. Named for the 32nd President, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who was originally a friend of Senator Byrd and later a political rival, the Roosevelt Suite is located on the main floor, just off the Grand Foyer.
